Spring flowers

Woke late today at about 8.15. Got dogs out for a wee and then phoned Ang’s mobile. She didn’t answer but phoned me back about a minute later saying she hadn’t managed to get to phone in time. She was ok but just going to bed and said she might see me later when she woke up. I watched news for a bit and then got dogs out for a walk to backwaters. China still in news as another person rescued alive. Managed to run into white Alsatian while out. Buster saw it first but thankfully listened to me when called him. Got back and fed dogs then put computers on. Checked Ang’s emails and did her charity clicks. Looked at postcode on google earth sent to us by someone looking for an exchange. Not too keen on the area but we’ve had someone else in that county reply so might be able to sort out a double exchange. Shoulder still playing up a little.
Yesterday was up at 6.15 and when took dogs for a walk saw fire brigade damping down an area over by picnic bench. Will try and get some pictures of it today. Managed to get pictures of a really unusual flower yesterday.
Never seen one before. Hope it’s still there when Ang next comes out with the dogs with me. Took some pictures of the flowers growing in Ang’s front garden a few days ago.

She’s let her garden go wild this year. Her neighbour cleared his and is letting it grow back on it’s own as well. I’m clearing mine back hopefully next decent weather as potatoes and onions are coming through. Got loadsa apples on tree. Will have to thin them out soon as way too many for tree. Took these pictures of the work been done at the haymeadow and all the foreign soil that’s been placed either side of the new gravel path.

Some native plants have been isolated now by the path.
I dread to think what will happen to the haymeadow over the next few years. Took this last picture down by the boat beach.
