Slow progress

Boxing day we shared the leftovers from xmas dinner. We couldn’t find much worth watching on TV. Martine rang from Guildford. She’d had a quiet xmas as well with her friend. I forgot to say yesterday that we texted everyone with a mobile we know to wish them happy xmas. Joan rang at 9 on xmas night and wanted to come over but Ang had just got up and didn’t want anyone around. Yesterday on one of the two walks we went on we chatted to a woman with 3 dogs we met at the backwaters. Buster made friends with her dogs while we talked. We’d met her before a while ago as she’d found my blog online when she put in a search for Turlin Moor backwaters. We both agreed that it’s a special place that not many people know about. Today we didn’t get up til 8.30ish. I took dogs out for a wee then we had a coffee and took the dogs out to the back green because I felt really rough. After they had both pooed we came back in and I fed them. We then had some toast and then took them out for a proper walk as I felt a bit better. Counted 24 swans on Lychett bay today. When we got back I made Ang a tea and I had another coffee. I had to have an anti twitch pill as well as shaking really bad today for some reason. Tried ringing Ang’s brother but his phone switched off at minute. Tried to get him all yesterday to invite him over but he didn’t answer. Hopefully will get hold of him later and invite him over for a meal. Had over 2400 hits on my post on Richard Dawkins forum to date. Hopefully start on new version of website soon.

Traditions

Tuesday Ang went to Poole to collect her new glasses. She called in at Iceland to do a shop. When she got to checkout she had to leave stuff as they couldn’t deliver. Wednesday we walked up to Lidl with dogs and she got to checkout and found they don’t take credit cards, so she had to leave stuff as had no money on us. We went down a second time and got what we needed. Called in Johns shop xmas morning for cream, milk and tomatoes. We had nut roast, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, onions and parsnips and Yorkshire puds followed by xmas pud and cream. Afterwards I drew a piece of mistletoe on a small bit of paper and made Ang laugh. I got a kiss though! We took dogs out for a walk and then watched Harry Potter. I went for a kip after it started and woke just as it finished. Watched Dr Who and then Ang went to bed when Eastenders finished. I stayed up and did this while drinking a glass of cider. Jane rang earlier and I had an argument with her about global warming and the economy and being Jesus back on Earth. Rang her back after fed dogs. Left her watching Shrek. Ang got up about 8.30 and I finished my cider and had a coffee. Ang watched The Royle Family and I finished this and posted it. Roll on the collapse next year.

Busy week

Ang been busy most of the week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday she went to an alcohol course. Friday she went over to her Aunt’s with her sister and Saturday she went into Poole. She says she’s done in from it all. Ang got me a takeaway last night and shared some of it. Today her sister is coming over. I got up today just after 8 and Ang was in the living room drinking. I took the dogs out for their first walk about 9 and called in at the paper shop for Ang. Rang Ang’s sister about 10.30 and told her the train times this afternoon and she said she’d prolly be on the 2.48 from Parkstone. Had toast and marmalade for breakfast.

Lidl's balloon

Ang woke me early today but managed to sleep til just before 8. Managed to find 3 videos of Mugabe recently but haven’t studied them yet. One doesn’t seem useful as sound is not in time with video. Swans have been scarce down at backwaters last few days although yesterday there were 40. Seems the cold keeps them away. January will be catastrophic for economy. Not much of a prediction now as everyone is saying similar now. Lidl opened on Saturday. When we went on the first walk with the dogs a young lad burst a balloon from Lidl’s opening and Dainty freaked. More balloons to rot in the environment for 60 years or more. After Dainty calmed down Ang went over to Lidl’s and I came back with the dogs. She came back and said it was packed and really cheap. It prolly means the death knell for John’s shop. He’s taken over the paper shop as well now which will prolly survive, although he doesn’t deliver papers now. Got Xmas voices on at minute. Don’t know why but Tony Blair was good. Had toast for breakfast.

Confession

Two days ago Ang woke me at 6.15. Yesterday she woke me at 3.00. Luckily got back to sleep that day and slept til 10.15. Got dogs out for two walks that day. Today woke at 8.45 and got dogs out after watching news. Both pork and beef in Ireland contaminated now. This was to be expected. I have recently eaten both bacon and corned beef. Sorry. Better not do that again unless I wish to force you to stop eating these animals. See this document It.
If Mugabe is not removed from power by the UN by Xmas I will remove him by Valentines day if I can find video of Mugabe making a speech on the internet.(PS sorry for your illness Margaret and George?)

Under pressure

Today the printer arrived just after 8.30. I was laid on the bed in my clothes as had tried to get some more kip after Ang woke me at 4.15. Yesterday she woke me just after 4 and I stayed up. Am terribly tired today and Ang has gone back to bed now. She’s drinking brandy like it’s going out of fashion and sleeping loads during the day. She has only had 2 sober days since she went to France. She keeps saying to me that she’s mentally ill and needs my help to get to the toilet. Yesterday she took her medication and threw up almost straight away so lost it all. I got the dogs out for three walks yesterday but only took them to the backwaters for 5 minutes this morning at about 9. Going to have a strong coffee and try and get them out for a proper walk in a while. Yesterday there were 42 swans at the backwaters. For last few weeks there has been between 30 and 40 swans there just about every day. This is the first year I’ve seen as many. Normally there is only a few that don’t stay long. Ang’s sister came over this afternoon and stayed quite a while. She comforted Ang for a while. When she left she promised Ang she'd come back tomorrow. I took the dogs out for a wee after she went as too tired to take them for a walk. Am going to try and sleep for an hour or two before have to feed them at 7.30. Ang is asleep now and hasn’t drunk since about 11 and it’s 4.30.

Duty frees

A fortnight Monday Ang went to a driving course in Poole. Two days later she went down with a cold which I caught two days later. I got over mine Sunday after a bath Saturday. Weather been rubbish today. Mainly rain and wind so not got the dogs out. Sunday Martine came over and I cooked her a meal. Ang hasn’t eaten for about 5 days now. Printer was supposed to arrive today but website says it’s not for a while yet. Ang going to France soon with her sister and two friends. Sunday night Ang went to France with her sister and two friends. She had a great time and got me a bottle of Whiskey. She also got some tobacco. I opened the drink and had an Irish coffee then Ang asked for some and ended up drinking half the bottle. She got up this morning and started drinking the rest of the bottle. She got really abusive and started hitting me and scratched my face. Buster got really upset and she punched him in the face. She calmed down eventually and started crying. About 4.30 she started again, upsetting both the dogs and refused to leave.

Illness

Dainty was quite ill 3 weeks ago. On the Friday she developed the runs so we starved her Saturday. Sunday we fed her again but ended up at the vets Monday. She had two injections and was given some paste to go on her food. By Wednesday all was fine as she had normal poos. Late Thursday afternoon she started throwing up and I took her to the vets again. He gave her another injection and I walked her home. When home I ended up staying up the night with her as she was still throwing up every time she had a drink. About 4 in the morning she got up for a drink and kept it down. Half an hour later she perked up a little and had another drink. It took another 48 hours for to get back to herself. Ang’s birthday was nice. Martine and Lee came over and Ang cooked them cottage pie. Afterwards Ang and I went to Wareham to an Italian by the quay. Ang had pizza and I had a chicken dish with rice. Dogs were fine with Lee and Martine. Meal was good but we mistimed trains and couldn’t get a taxi at Wareham station so had to walk to quay in the rain. Monday went to Pokesdown and ordered a computer for Martine’s birthday. It arrived Wednesday and I spent Thursday updating all the OS and installing antivirus software. Yesterday Ang ended up in hospital after taking loads of her tablets. Martine went to hospital for me and kept me informed until she had to go home. Ang came back home just before two in the morning. Her arm was covered in blood where she’d a drip in her arm removed. I cleaned her up and then we sat up for a while. Woke this morning and sorted dogs out. Got in touch with Dr about Ang and he’s made her an appointment for next week. He also sorted a prescription out as the hospital had taken all Ang’s medication.
Global meltdown continues as predicted. 3 to 11 weeks till next wave of events.

Money storms

Things have been quiet for a while. Ang’s sister came over yesterday and stayed for a few hours. Have got loadsa photos to take or videos to shoot over next three weeks for forum I’ve been posting on. Weather doing as expected. Prolly not be a super storm this year over UK as August and September not hot enough although other factors are right. Doing the maths the next financial upheaval will take place in a minimum of 6 weeks to a maximum of 14 weeks.

Global financial warning

This was completed on 15th July 2005

available at www.arkdoorway.org.uk

By August 2010, as declared over 12 months ago on this blog, global financial systems will be collapsed. This collapse will continue until 2013. This reorganisation will result in the realisation that capitalism does not work. Sorry for the inconvenience, normal service will be resumed in 5 to 6 years.

Milton Keynes and Wareham

Last Sunday the guy from Milton Keynes picked us up and took us all to his house. Got there about 10. Went on 3 walks looking for suitable water for Dainty. First walk the lake was fisherman only. Second we found a river but the bank was too high. The last walk was along the canal but we gave up after about 20 minutes as it would be too far on a hot day. We had a great Chinese on the night and started back at 6. Ang wanted a breakfast so on the way back we stopped at a really expensive place and had the worst breakfast we’d ever had. Ang couldn’t finish hers and it took absolutely ages to get served. We got back and fed the dogs. Dainty had refused to go to the toilet in his garden but seemed to enjoy being out in it. Buster loved it and even made friends with the neighbour’s dog.
On my birthday Ang got her sister to dog sit and we went to Wareham for a meal. We sat at the new art venue at the side of the river as we were early for the restaurant. We had a lovely meal and took a slow walk back to the station looking in all the shops on the way. Sunday I popped over to Parkstone to meet Ang’s sister to drop her teabags we got for her in our delivery on Saturday. Sunday was a lazy day and I spent a lot of time reading posts on the BBC forum.

Another letdown

Last Sunday Ang went to Milton Keynes to visit a possible exchange. She went with her friend Helen and her boyfriend. She left at 8.20 and didn’t get back til 10.57 at night. I met her train at Hamworthy station with the dogs. The day was really hot and she walked for hours when they were there. She took lots of pictures while she was there. Helen loved the concrete cows in the town centre.
On Thursday Ang’s sister came over to housesit while we went up to Milton Keynes with the dogs but the guy rang at 10.15 on the night to cancel as he doesn’t want to exchange now. Ang really fed up with it as we spoke on the phone earlier in the day and he was going to come down in his car and pick us up earlier than we arranged on Monday so we could get up there earlier. Jane getting delayed by builders so cattery might not be ready on time.

Poor Buster

Just under 3 weeks ago Buster got attacked by a staffy. It managed to get out a garden as we walked past. Three people came out the garden quickly but not before it had savaged Busters left leg and left a hole. I put savlon on it for a couple of days and wouldn’t let him near water. It’s only just scabbed over in the last few days. Thankfully it didn’t get infected and he didn’t need to go to the vets. He went off his food for 24 hours after it happened which worried me a bit but he ate the second day. Weather has been great for Dainty lately as not too sunny. Rained all day 2 days ago so managed to get a break from the dogs walks. Got soaked taking them out on the green never the less. Jane rings every night now and chats for a while. She’s busy redecorating her new bungalow and getting ready to get people in to build the new cattery. We got let down over an exchange a couple of days ago and Ang has taken it really bad. Ang’s sister visited recently with her friend. She drinks tea by the gallon so we just leave her to make her own. She got some bakewell tarts and had them with custard while she was here. Dainty jumped up at a woman while we were on our first walk today. I was picking up Busters poo at the time. I apologised but the woman was angry. Thankfully she was ok about it when I saw her at her car on the way home and we chatted for a while. Going to keep a closer eye on Dainty in future. Took them both into Poole a week ago and had to sit down and keep them away from people while Ang did what we needed to do. Was glad to get them back home.
Prolly be a superstorm this year if there is a hot spell in August and September.
Took picture of apple tree and old mans beard in front garden earlier.

The last week

Ang woke me at 4.50 Wednesday morning unlocking the front door. Buster started barking which started neighbours dogs off. Took dogs out for their first walk just before 6. Ran into white Alsatian while wandering about down the backwaters. Came home and then phoned Ang and she came round just after 7. Thursday I woke about 5.45 as managed to get really early night after sister phoned. Friday Ang rang at 5.50 and woke me. Got dogs out about 6.45 for their first walk. Martine and Bernie came round about 12 and stayed til 1.20. Got dogs out again about 4 after kids got back from school. Ordered some coconut oil for Busters elbow. Saturday we had a lazy day and only go the dos out or two long walks. We had a Chinese on the evening. Sunday Ang’s sister came over and I cooked chicken and chips. When she left she missed her train so walked home. Monday didn’t wake til 7.20. Went to backwaters just after 8.15. Ran into someone out with Jenny’s dogs on second walk. First time we’ve ever run into them at the backwaters. Managed to get a picture of some poppies.

Disturbed

Had a disturbed weekend. Saturday was ok but neighbours were having a party and kept noise going til gone 12. Twoish Ang got woke by neighbour banging door and shouting. I woke at 3 and it culminated in neighbour hammering on someones door for 15 minutes. Tried to catch up on sleep Sunday night but Ang woke me at just before midnight. Finally got back to sleep about 1. Ang woke me just before six today. Managed to get dogs out 3 times today but every time I tried to sleep Ang rang. Be glad to get to bed tonight.

Chaos

Been chaos recently. Friday morning neighbours car had its windscreen broke for the second time.
Saturday Ang got attacked by Bubs again and got her leg badly scratched.
Saturday took a few pictures of mushrooms at the backwaters as well.
Sunday night a neighbours car got set on fire.
Today been quiet so far. It’s Ang’s sisters grans funeral today. Managed to get dogs out 3 times. Went over the hill on their first walk and the dogs were sneezing from the grass pollen. Great clouds of it when you knocked against the grass. Took them to the boat beach on their second walk. Third walk we went around the rough area by the bird hide.

Thursday, 29 May 2008

After the rain

Managed to get dogs out twice today so far. They both been enjoying puddles at the backwaters. Took a picture of one type of mushroom growing in field by the shops and some flowers that have established themselves along the edge of the path.

Started a document entitled Gentile this morning. Seems to be going well at the minute. Nuts we ordered arrived yesterday. Had terrible problems with taxi driver sent to collect Ang’s prescription. He rang twice to ask what chemist it was and where it had got to be delivered to.

May 26th 2008

Ang came over yesterday and stayed the night. Got to bed about 11. Watched 11th hour and scanned it into computer. Will convert it later as took adverts out last night. Missed some bits as had to feed dogs and take them out for a wee. Had loadsa pain in shoulder by end of night. Woke this morning just after 7. Got dogs out and it was raining. Had coffee and watched a bit of news. Was still raining so took dogs onto back green to have a poo. Loadsa snails and slugs about in the grass. Went down shops for Ang and got soaked on the way back. The phoenix landed in the news today. Got euronews on at minute. Think I’m going to cancel TV package soon as want freesat. Am annoyed that freeview not available in this area for 4 years. Surely it breaks competition rules somehow. Shoulder and arm hurting this morning. Tried to get some pictures of snails earlier but had to go out a second time to get 3 good shots.

Have appeased the dogs by give them a chew each. If rain hasn’t stopped by midday will have to take dogs for a walk. They both not keen on the rain. They hardly run about when they get off the lead and seem to want to come home. Strange because Dainty loves water.

Sunday, 25 May 2008

Reed fire

Watched morning programmes on BBC1 til about 12 then took dogs out. Managed to get a picture of the burnt area by the picnic bench.
Nothing much got damaged and the reeds will grow back really quickly. Took dogs there for their second walk. Ran into quite a few people out with dogs and saw a blue butterfly at chads copse. Didn’t manage to get a good photo though. Not much in flower in the grass there yet. Clover and buttercups are about the only things. Haymeadow is much the same. Got back and watched program about new Indiana Jones film then had a bath. Then watched news and caught up with progress in Burma and China. Trying to work out whether pains in left shoulder are linked to twitch in left hand. Seem to get waves of pain in shoulder followed by period of intensified twitching. Decided this morning was going to continue with blog even though the authorities are reading it and may use things I say against me. Things like be warned china, my shoulder is still playing up, more earthquakes are on the way.

Spring flowers

Woke late today at about 8.15. Got dogs out for a wee and then phoned Ang’s mobile. She didn’t answer but phoned me back about a minute later saying she hadn’t managed to get to phone in time. She was ok but just going to bed and said she might see me later when she woke up. I watched news for a bit and then got dogs out for a walk to backwaters. China still in news as another person rescued alive. Managed to run into white Alsatian while out. Buster saw it first but thankfully listened to me when called him. Got back and fed dogs then put computers on. Checked Ang’s emails and did her charity clicks. Looked at postcode on google earth sent to us by someone looking for an exchange. Not too keen on the area but we’ve had someone else in that county reply so might be able to sort out a double exchange. Shoulder still playing up a little.
Yesterday was up at 6.15 and when took dogs for a walk saw fire brigade damping down an area over by picnic bench. Will try and get some pictures of it today. Managed to get pictures of a really unusual flower yesterday.
Never seen one before. Hope it’s still there when Ang next comes out with the dogs with me. Took some pictures of the flowers growing in Ang’s front garden a few days ago.

She’s let her garden go wild this year. Her neighbour cleared his and is letting it grow back on it’s own as well. I’m clearing mine back hopefully next decent weather as potatoes and onions are coming through. Got loadsa apples on tree. Will have to thin them out soon as way too many for tree. Took these pictures of the work been done at the haymeadow and all the foreign soil that’s been placed either side of the new gravel path.

Some native plants have been isolated now by the path.
I dread to think what will happen to the haymeadow over the next few years. Took this last picture down by the boat beach.

Last month

Last month been quite slow. Weather settled down into normal British days. Summer will be very hot and Autumn wet and windy. Difficult to say whether we will have a Winter this year. Suppose it depends on the wetness of Summer. Globally the financial collapse is continuing with the rapid increases in commodity prices. I repeat a statement “Capitalism or democracy ….one or both of these principles don’t work.” Within one year this weather will come to pass. Within two years millions of people will be starving in major cities throughout the western world because of global crop under production.
Ang’s sister should be coming over Sunday. Ang go her new teeth yesterday but going back Monday as they don’t fit right. I trying to recover from some meds GP put me on earlier in the week. Got a new script to collect for something new for my shoulder pain.

Tuesday, 11 March 2008

Warning

Ang’s sister came over yesterday and stayed the night. We had a delivery of dog food today. Got to look on the Global event site for 17th and 22nd of this month to see what happens. Wonder if either day will hit the news. Got dogs out twice but once was only to the shops because the wind was so bad. Fell asleep in afternoon and Ang left me til about 6. Got up and took dogs for a wee. Fed them at 8.30 after taking them out again. Both ate well tonight and we gave them a pig’s ear after supper. Cooked something to eat and then finished this.

Holiday

Managed to meet sister in Poole every week lately. Went to see her yesterday and did some shopping with her. She buys a lot of meat from a local farm stall each week. Says it much better than super market meat. I got some minced steak for Ang this week and she made a cottage pie for her brother who’s been staying for a few days. I played him at backgammon yesterday on the set Ang brought me a few weeks ago. Been posting and reading BBC forums. Got up to 336 hits on Covenant page in last few posts. Been having a break from writing to do some more d-web field study. Not had any more posts since this one by me a while ago. Sleeping way too much for all that I need to do. Struggling to get dogs on 3 walks a day even though day length is increasing. Usually crash out in afternoon and miss 3rd walk. Pointless talking to any of team as they simply don’t listen. My quality of life is inferior to what it was prior to increasing my medication and this is being totally ignored.

Family

Angela’s family have been around for last 2 weeks. Her brother has stayed twice and been laying a carpet for Ang on her stairs. I missed last week but managed to get to Poole this week to see my sister. We talked about our lives and visited a couple of places to have coffee. Got some cheesy bread at the market and a few other things we needed. Got dogs out for a walk when got back about 11.30. Been spending a lot of time playing backgammon on-line. Helped brother-in-law set up router security as well. Rang my brother a couple of days ago and spoke to him briefly on-line. Installed a music program for Ang and showed her how to use it for half an hour.

ihen, tensai, saiyaku, saigai, sanji, sounan, yaku

Went over to sisters a few times during last two weeks to try and sort router out. Had no success for a while. Seems brother in law was stuck with this problem. I was wasting all my free time on it and not able to get on with what I wanted to do. Eventually changed router and got system working. Been going into Poole on Thursdays to see sister for chat and coffees. Got to arrange this week today some time. Manage to chat to her on-line now as well as she can get on-line again now. Ang left two days ago after an argument on Saturday night but came back Sunday. Her brother visited Sunday night and stayed, leaving for work at 7.30. Monday was quiet and we managed to get the dogs out 3 times and spent day playing games with Ang and reading BBC forums. Today Ang went to see her sister and go with her to her Aunt’s for dinner. She left just before 10 and my visitors arrived at 10.25 and left after about 10 minutes when Ang rang. Her sister was hadn’t turned up yet. After got off the phone I took the dogs to the backwaters and wandered around for a while breaking new trainers in. Looking out for new trouble in Africa now cause they are hurting my left heal. Getting out of cowboy boots should ease pressure on area that kicked off in December. Weather has settled to medium precipitation til next full moon. Global finances stabilising for next 8 months to 1 year. Expect Japan to be devastated very shortly depending on the outcome of next month. Two month warning. They ought to read the covenant of ARK.

Before the event

Had appointment yesterday. Took a taxi all way and didn’t get home til 5.30ish. Doctor is still skeptical. I pre-empted his request in my last post. Now I have to wait till the end of summer before either he can say I was right or wrong. Not much point in us talking til then now. Evidence takes time to gather but prediction is all about pre-empting things. Ang’s sister rang yesterday and needed help getting back from Portugal. We booked a ticket for her for tomorrow as she arrived too late at the airport to get a flight today. A friend came round today and stayed for a while chatting. Ang rang her Aunt who has just got back off holiday. Managed to get dogs out with Ang today and went up behind railway track and played ball. Got delivery of dogfood and shopping. Had roast chicken, roast potatoes and broccoli to eat. On nighttime had some kippers and bread and butter. Did new format back ups on both computers. While backup onto Ang’s going I did this post.

Tuesday, 15 January 2008

More weather

Didn’t really get rained off but dogs managed to pull my shoulder on start of second walk and had to come back. About 10 minutes later had to fetch the mop from Ang’s as she was sick. Shortly after she went to bed for a while. When she got up she drank for a short while then went back to bed. I had left over Chinese warmed up to eat and could only manage dogs onto the green because I didn’t want to leave Ang and my shoulder was really hurting. Decided to do this post after had Chinese. Watched some more TV for a while and then settled down to news. Weather is predicted to be wet for a while. There’s a surprise! Going to be a whole lot wetter this year, til summer be out. Chance of heat wave high though.

Rained off

Yesterday had to wait in for delivery. Bloke didn’t turn up until about 5.30. Only managed to get dogs out on the green all day because didn’t know when he was arriving. Ang shouted a lot and upset the dogs after she’d been drinking all morning. She eventually calmed down and went to bed in the afternoon. I got a Chinese about 7.30 and got to bed about 10.30. Woke this morning just after 9 and got the dogs out. It was raining although not heavy. Fed dogs just after 10 then took them to the backwaters. The middle field was flooded out with huge puddles everywhere. I came back via the shops and the road next to the paper shop was flooded at the end by the shops. More rain is due as well! Don’t know if dogs will get another walk today if the rain comes back. They’ll have to manage with just going out on the green.

Sunday, 13 January 2008

Last order

Woke just before 9. Had a day of just taking dogs on green. Had Buster off the lead twice. Watched some of Andrew Marr, The Big Questions and Countryfile. Weather not nice and Ang says she’s never going to eat meat again after seeing slaughter on programmes recently. If foot and mouth comes back we won’t have the animals to slaughter. I’m even thinking of going meat free again. The dogs had some bacon today at breakfast time. They love it. I had beans on toast and coffee as well. Going to have to get used to black coffee. Not giving up sugar though. I wonder if any of this actually means anything in the big scheme of things. I ain’t giving up eggs though. I wonder how long Ang will last. I got quite a lot of chicken and fish in the freezer and to be delivered. Last lot of normal milk as well.

Mishap and magic

Ang went home two days ago. Came back over yesterday. She’s drinking heavily at the minute. I went over Westbourne today to see a friend got back about 12.30. Took dogs to the picnic bench afterwards. Arrived at the hay meadow just as an elderly man with a walking stick fell over. Was just about to tie dogs up to help when a woman in a car stopped and a man with Jack Russell’s stopped. One of his dogs went for the man on the ground and he had to pull them back. They helped him up and he seemed ok. Came back via the church and Ang had crashed out in the chair. Stuck Harry Potter on and watched a bit then did this post.

Wednesday, 9 January 2008

Music

Woke today about 8.15. Took dogs out and then had coffee. Got dogs on a walk to the backwaters about 9.30. Saw 6 swans on the bay. Came back and had fried egg and beans on toast for breakfast. Played music videos on TV. Went for a second walk about 12.30 and ended up at the picnic bench. Came back and watched some more music. Afterwards did a shop at Sainsbury’s. Spent £130. About 4.00 we took the dogs out on the green with a football. Tried to find something decent to watch on TV and ordered an Indian about 5.30. Ang spent most of day playing computer games.

Failure

Went to sisters to help brother in law with computer Sunday at 4. He picked me up. Managed to format wrong drive at first attempt. Then next day he lost rest of files we’d salvaged. Been to mucky pond with dogs twice in last three days. Loadsa rain today. Ang lost her rag with neighbour yesterday over her dog being out off the lead. I backed her up. Neighbour said dogs going. Went to backwaters as usual this morning and called in shops on way back. Need to order more dog food. Got quizzed by visitors and told them a few home truths

Bills and a Trojan

Weather has been cold recently. Two days ago was bitter. Cold with a really icy wind. Yesterday was mild like today. I met my sister in Poole to give her her chrissy presents and have a chat and coffees. Finally found a place where you can get decent tasting coffee in Poole. A little place on the high street on a corner. There are patches of blue sky today in between the rain clouds. Got up about 8.15 and took dogs out. Had a slow coffee and fed dogs. Neither of them ate so we took them to the backwaters for a walk. Met the white Alsatian that attacked buster twice. Luckily he was on the other side of the field and I got ours on the lead before Buster saw him. Came back and Buster ate his breakfast. Dainty still not interested at 12. Ang tried to pay some bills via telephone banking but their system has been down two days and likely not to be back running for two more. Yesterday Ang’s sister rang after an argument with her boyfriend and said she prolly wasn’t going on holiday today with him. We rang earlier though and her phone was off so we think she’s prolly changed her mind and gone to the Algarve with him. Ang gone over to mop up the leak she’s got at hers. We’re trying to work out if it’s from her pipes or her washing machine so we can get the right people out Monday. Not a good start to the year for her. Her utility bills are really high as well since her sister has been staying at her flat so she’s not very happy. Brother in law has managed to get a Trojan on his computer and have been going on-line with my brother the last few nights trying to help him but had no luck so far as it is a really new one with no info on it available anywhere.
