How I now travel

Yesterday was a nightmare. Had to meet someone so took the train and arrived at 10.45. Used mobile to ring them at 11 when they hadn’t turned up. They were still 30 miles away having problems loading their lorry. He told me he’d be another hour. At 12.15 he rang again and told me he was now on the road but stuck in traffic 25 miles away. An hour later he rang and said he’d be 20 minutes. He finally arrived at just before 2.
With that happening and taking the dogs on walks I didn’t manage to get much else done. I managed to finish Tuesdays post though.
While waiting for the train to take me home I met a Rastafarian with 24 year old dreadlocks. They were amazing. Some hanging down to below his knees. He’d just delivered a car to the area and was on his way back to London. He was engrossed in a newspaper and commented that he was getting paid to read it all the way home. Wish I’d had one of my cards to give him as he said he was vegetarian. Missed an opportunity.
Today we got up at just before 7. Usual routine of dogs out. Coffee. News. Dogs fed and out. Breakfast today was poached egg and beans on toast. After breakfast we went on a long walk with dogs. Took about an hour.
When we got back I checked emails and Mum had sent me a
link of the Eiffel Tower at night Quite impressive waste of electricity can be seen. I’d love to do a detailed analysis of that d-field amplifier. Don’t know if the plans are available. (Note to self….search internet when time.) As it was begun in 1887 it’s probably a high grade device.
After that Angela and I took the dogs into Poole on the train. Angela left some of my cards on a few tables while I looked after the dogs. We did some shopping and Angela got some photos done for her passport. We came home and Angela left some more cards in different carriages on the train.
The cards are simple and have ARK and Automatic Rights Konnet on them. They also have the email and web address of the ARK website. Also each one is signed on the back and numbered.
Only 20 have been handed out so far.
Only 249 exist.
This is another thing we are doing.
When we got back I made what we have for breakfast a lot. I put 2 handfuls of nut mix (1 part hazelnuts, almonds, brazils, cashews 2 parts walnuts) into a blender. Add a handful of sunflower and pumpkin seed mix and a pint of milk. Blend for 30 seconds. Then add one cored apple, 3 bananas, 2 inches of cucumber and a small carrot all cut in pieces. Blend with another half pint of milk. It makes loads Angela has a couple of mugs full and I have about a pint and a half.
Afterwards we took the dogs out for their first formal training session today. They are learning STAY for next few days.
Made a Thai Green curry with some prawns from a
recipe on BBC website. Turned out quite well even though didn’t have all the ingredients and used prawns instead of chicken.
Watched a bit more news and then began writing this. Took a break and then we went out for a long walk with dogs. Came back and settled down for a bit of TV. Fed dogs their supper and then started copying up post.

Took a small break to water garden with Angela's bath water.
Reread and finished.
